Synopsis:

Access to planning tools always seems to be a problem, the ones people want to use cost lots or require lots of training, the ones people end up using don’t do what they need and often people sheepishly say “well I tend to use a spreadsheet quite a lot of the time”.

We produced Planner to help exactly this group of people so it shouldn’t be a surprise just how popular it has been over the last 18 months and now there is a new version 3.1 with even more goodies as requested by the users. Now it provides task management, resourcing, budgeting and cost control, risk and issue management, powerful filters and reporting support as well as the ability to transfer data to and from other tools.
